Hormonal Hales — Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This is a standalone policy required under Washington’s My Health My Data Act. I apply the protections in it to every Hormonal Hales client, not only Washington residents — it’s simpler to run one standard than several, and it gives everyone the same protection. It supplements, and should be read alongside, my general Privacy Policy.
1. Who this policy covers
2541104 Alberta Inc., an Alberta corporation operating as Hormonal Hales — that’s me, Haley Campbell. For any question, request, or complaint about your consumer health data: hales@hormonalhales.com.
2. What consumer health data I collect
Cycle charts, biomarker observations (temperature, cervical mucus, LH results), symptoms, and health history — data that identifies your health status, including fertility and menstrual data.
3. Where it comes from
Directly from you, when you choose to share it — through intake forms, chart-review submissions, shared charting apps, voice messages, email, or on calls.
4. Why I collect and use it
To provide the service you asked for — reviewing your chart, answering your questions, and supporting your use of the Cycle Mastery course. I don’t use it for any other purpose, and I never use it for advertising or profiling.
5. Consent
I collect consumer health data only when you affirmatively provide it and tick the consent box on the relevant form. Consent to collect and consent to share are separate: ticking the box to submit a chart review authorizes me to collect and use that data for the review — it does not by itself authorize any other use.
6. Who I share it with
Only the service providers who help me deliver the service, acting on my instructions: Read Your Body (charting app), Google Workspace (email, files, forms), Notion (program administration), Tally (submissions), Voxer (Supported voice messages), Thinkific (course platform), and Zoom/Google Meet (calls, which may be recorded with notice).
I do not share consumer health data with anyone else, and I never sell it. If that ever changed, selling would require your separate, specific, signed written authorization — not just agreement to this policy or the Terms of Purchase & Use.
7. No geofencing
I do not use geofencing or location tracking to identify when someone is near a healthcare facility, and I do not use consumer health data to target ads or messages based on proximity to one.
8. How long I keep it
Health and cycle data is deleted or de-identified six (6) months after your support window ends, or sooner if you ask.
9. Your rights
You can ask what consumer health data I hold, ask for a copy, withdraw consent, or have it deleted — email hales@hormonalhales.com and I’ll confirm within forty-five (45) days, with one possible 45-day extension if needed. Deletion requests are passed on to the service providers listed in Section 6 who hold a copy of your data. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect processing that already happened.
If I deny your request, you can appeal by replying to that email. I’ll respond in writing within 45 days of your appeal. If I still deny it, I’ll tell you how to contact the Washington Attorney General to file a complaint — you can also do so directly at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
10. Changes
Updates will be posted to this page with a new effective date, and I’ll flag material changes by email.
